On February 9, 2026, senior leaders and representatives from the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) held a high-level working session with the leadership of the Vietnam National Academy of Music (VNAM), marking a significant milestone in their collaborative relationship.
The meeting welcomed a distinguished delegation from AMEB, including: Mr. Mike Tyler – Chair of the Board of Directors, AMEB; Mr. Bernard Depasquale – Chief Executive Officer, AMEB; Dr. Tanya Nguyen – AMEB Ambassador to Vietnam and International Examiner.
Representing the Vietnam National Academy of Music were: Dr. Do Quoc Hung (People’s Artist) – Director of VNAM; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Phuong – Chairman of the Academy Council.
In an open and constructive atmosphere, both parties reviewed the positive outcomes of their recent cooperation and discussed future strategic directions. The primary objective of this partnership remains the advancement of Vietnamese music education, aligning it with international standards of professionalism and sustainability.
